Our old address served us well for the last two years. We think the new address will be even better! The new Everything Green Hydroponics will be a larger more warehouse style facility. The parking will be private and we will have freeway signage.

Please be patient as the store has been a mess the last couple of days. We are working to cleanup the the store, and hope to provide more products, and greater service to our customers. Everything Green Hydroponics takes pride in being Solano County’s first and most reliable hydroponic source!

Everything Green Hydroponics will be open Monday, January 16th 2012. This will be in our Fairfield store only. Our Vacaville, CA location will be closed. Everything Green Hydroponics will be opened regular business hours which are 9 am to 7 pm.

We received a shipment of Advanced Nutrients last night. Advanced Nutrients are very popular products in our retail stores. I have always considered them to be excellent products. I have garnered more appreciation for Advanced Nutrients once they made their products more concentrated. Their dilution rates are 2 ml./ gal for most products. For their Sensi Bloom A & B and Connoisseur A & B you can use half of that and get great results. These dilution rates make your hard earned dollar go farther!

In this post, I just wanted to highlight some of Advanced Nutrients better products and popular items in our retail stores :

Big Bud – Best bloom booster on the market. Period! Use 2nd week of flowering until 3 weeks before harvest.

Jungle Juice – A copy of the most popular GROW, MICRO, BLOOM 3 part, except uses better ingredients (chelated ingredients and uses RO water), and is about 30% less expensive! A GREAT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sensi Bloom A & B – Specifically made for your favorite plants. Uses supreme ingredients and only 2 ml./gal. As good or better than any bloom fertilizer in the hydroponic industry.

Connoisseur A & B – We have been selling a lot more of this product. The price does scare people away. Connoisseur A & B  is produced in a way that makes the nutrients easy to absorb. Also, Connoisseur A & B has amino acids already mixed into the bottles.

Advanced nutrients already have Humic and Fulvic acids mixed into the bottles. These products help with the absorption of nutrients.

A customer called this evening about his electronic ballast that went bad. The customer is a long time patron and a cool dude. I got a replacement ballast, then asked him how many defective ballasts has he had. He replied that it had been his fifth. He continued to note that he had five ballasts so he had to replace all of them.

People, please put appropriate lamps in electronic ballasts! Do not put in Sunmasters and say, “Oh but they come on.” Digital ballasts and electronic ballasts run on different frequencies. Also, electronic ballasts will deliver more juice. Conventional, especially the cheaper ones, are designed for these kind of ballasts, ie. Lumatek, Quantum, Galaxy, Digimax, and Nextgen.

High Pressure Sodium Bulbs designed for these ballasts have larger arc tubes with more phosphorous to compensate for the energy. Also, Pulse Start Metal Halides run on the appropriate frequency. So if your Hydro Guy is offering you some” cheap ass” bulbs to go with your new $300 dollar electronic ballasts, wonder about his knowledge and ethics.

I like Hortilux (the AIR Jordan of bulbs), but not in electronic ballasts. That is why they are coming out with their own electronic ballasts. Lumens are for humans. If your going to spend the money, match quality with quality. Don’t put cheap tires on your corvette!!!
